Cold stamping foil is the process of applying adhesive to a substrate and then applying easy release foils into the adhesive without the use of hot dies or heated rollers. An advantage of cold stamping foil is that it requires less energy and no dies. The ribbons work on rotary letter press and rotary flexo presses. Cold foil is used to enhance labels, books, greeting cards etc.
